Longing for love poetry...
*
Lonely gazing, a red crimson
bouquet of roses
lay wrapped in my arms
as time and desire
enduring, they
pass without end
my tearful gaze lingers
my heart is on fire
with endless desire...
I’m still waiting
~
Your heart and
your beauty
ever locked in my
memory, holding
remnants of long
ago, and maybe
lost time and
surrender was
bittersweet sorrow
~
Memories fall silent
so long ago, we felt
lost, without courage
weak, without shame
timeless were moments
and fine all the same
though nothing’s forever
it hurts to remember
what could have been...
I want this again
