Beauty Cast in Bounty

I began writing and publishing my own original poetry in 2001, seemingly a lifetime ago, yet each verse had a wonderful presence and a purposeful quality in its creation, serving to strengthen one’s resolve and promote happiness. It has never been about money or fame, but a celebration of poetic verse, which has been a cornerstone of love, healing, and a life-fulfilling, purposeful literary purpose for centuries. And my purpose for sharing my writing journey with the world: to touch one’s heart and soul in a revealing, most positive way. May you experience resolve, happiness and purpose through my writings!

Life has many beautiful moments, but it also brings us challenges that discourage, frustrate, and confound us as to their reason or rhyme. I offer you many moments of resolve and happiness. Beauty Cast in Bounty

For those who can only see the darkness in life, you need only look away; for my purpose shall always shed light...


A listless sea awaits her calling
boundless, beauty in bounty cast
rock of ages and limbs uplifting
to heavens, tides of time ever last

Whispers enchant on winds of morrow
seeds of eternity, sands sublime
life in its promise long embracing
gifts of living, love and peace align

Days of rage and malice holding
sunsets burn an ashen sallow
heart and soul as desert sands
ablaze in voiceless anger, hollow

Storm in tempest, words of anger
quell the war cry, lay down arms
for lest we speak in terms forgiven
goodness perished, faith disarmed

Fond our days of thanks in coming
feast beholden, giving's measure
savour life for all its blessings
live and love as earthly treasure
