young woman bathed in healing sunlight of outdoors, healing inner disconsole

Beauty in Solitude

Feeling tangled
a twist of
stress, anxiety
day by day
burrowed
deep in heart
and soul
so tired
down and
out...
~
Tears fall
from weary
eyes, burning
deep, as
inner disconsole
I feel so alone
confused
angry for
knowing, yet
contrary
~
I long for
peaceful
energy
within
withdrawing
to nature’s way
warming sunshine
so good, so raw
consoling turmoil
a quiet deserving
~
Breathe, deep
and healing
an ointment
of release
uplifting
assuring
I smile, cry
in silent
mending
~
I listen
intently
birds flutter
and muse
calling, culling
flutter of wings
rising to higher
limbs
as do I
sated
butterfly
fly
