Your absence
leaves breathless
pain through our
tears, relentless
falling...
are you lost
and alone
wanting, ever
needing
~
I feel heartache
knowing you are
out there
a beautiful heart
gentle, whispering
softly, you resonate
fingertips, wobbly
unsure, fearing
shadows daunting
~
Contentment rests
on the edge of falling
as failing to love
again, lest it be
for certain,
avoidance leads
nowhere, unless
we desire
unconditionally
~
Are you out there
your desire
temptation
drawing you
forward...
deliberate, yes
take that first step
set yourself free
I await first steps
lest never we see...
~
Call out to me, for
I feel your ever-
presence
so near, 
lest far away
abandoning...
together, what
our heart’s craving
longs will be
