of splendour, luscious
beams of light
awaiting our rise
on slumber’s wake
from dreams abundant
in morning glory
a new day
for celebration

Rise in cherished
remembrance of
Easter’s blessing
we are born again
to a living hope…
cause for celebration
a resonant renewal
new beginnings
~
A new spirit for life’s
many splendours
to live for, believe in
we walk a new path
footsteps calm and
reassuring
as troubled times
turbulent waters
of sorrow, trusting
~
Traditional ritual
Easter eggs of colour
a fragrance for occasions
hidden treasures lost
and found, symbolic
of joy and celebration
children scurry with
excitement, giddy
as parents share
in the glory
~
Loving spirit bathes
a cleansing
an Easter Bunny
symbolic, praised
the joy of promise
for change restoring
embrace and hope
renewal, giving
