Centuries pass, revered
celabration, a remembrance
in honour of Jesus'
resurrection from the dead
~
In spirit of rebirth and renewal
a global gathering, then and now
families, friends and neighbours gather
proffering heartfelt thanks
~
Tradition follows; smiles, embracing
tearful exchanges, prayer
beautifully coloured Easter Eggs
in abundance gathered, oft hidden
~
Children scamper in gleeful search
of hidden treasures promised
they giggle, excite, and hugs for
mom and dad abound
~
Reverence glows approaching
the diningroom table adourned
decorative samplings, may this day
forever touch hearts and souls

Dear friends, may your Easter celebrations bring all those together who cherish each other and the day's commemoration. Take long moments to remember a good life proffered, seeded, and cast golden in your hearts. May the meaning of rebirth and renewal always be grounded with thanks, good health and happiness through His blessed name, in our glory...Amen.
