Hello, my friends! Welcome to my new poetry, prose, and lyrical verse website where I share so many of my original works to readers around the globe.
Originally born and raised in Southern Ontario, Canada, I have called Vancouver, BC, Canada my west coast home, amoung several other cities in the province for some forty years now.
During my youth and teenage years, through studies in my English classes, and personal resources elsewhere, I developed a strong sense of connection to what has become a long-lasting fascination and love for the written word, particularly poetic verse in its long-archived historical beginnings and traditional verse periods through to the contemporary verse of today.
It was not until the year 2001 that I decided to venture into the realm of writing my own poetry! I have a strong attachment to the visual magic of photography, thus deciding to incorporate gorgeous photographs into my published poetry presentations. I would soon discover the tremendous photographic works shared on UnSplash.com . There is a tremendous volume of aspiring and professional photographers’ stunning captured visuals for registered members to choose from under a free license agreement to use for any number of purposes.
My online presence has spanned nearly 25 years and my excitement and love for writing and publishing my poetry has found its way around the globe to readers whose responses to my work have been truly moving and inspiring. My focus has included verse to inspire, to nurture, to romanticize, and so often to heal an aching heart and soul.
Moving forward here on these pages, I will endeavour to share with you many of my works published for over two decades now, and, of course, my newly written and published contemporary poetry. I also publish my books of original poetry and will share their location as they are released! I wish you heartfelt moments as you engage in my words and allow them to touch your heart and soul as they may.
