Loneliness poetry...


Life brings splendour
fulfillment, happiness
new beginnings, yet
still, we must follow
painstaking care to
embrace, nurture
whom and what we
love, cherish...and
they in turn
~
Happy tears heal
in colours of
the rainbow
our odyssey
dependent on
respectful sharing and
understanding one
another’s needs...
compromising
~ 
We used to 
stroll sandy beaches
hand in hand as
lovers do...
connection nourishes
heart and soul
attending, reconciling
wanting to, loving to
enliven spirit, a
deep seeded joy
~
It seems so 
natural, instinctive
so easy, yet
where are we now
wandering...
lost and alone
I see you wading
in shallows
saddened, tearful
lost in love’s sorrow
~
I am lessened for
having failed you
weakened, disheartened
torn with regret,
emotions waver
that once we held so
near, so dear
yet loss is not
forever, no...
we shall live and love
again
