Summer night's romance poetry...


Sometimes we search a
lifetime for love
but few moments so
cherished, so few
kindle desire for
continuance
as a boiling sunset
inflame heart's desire
arousal burning
~
Imagine an 
ocean's horizon
beyond reach yet
powerfully near...
craving, a hunger 
everlast, first kiss
salivates, tongues
flicker as flame...
scintilating
~
Holding each other
close, we embrace
heart and soul
never to part
aloneness casting 
shadows of dispair
we close our eyes
inhale the perfume
of love, overcoming
~
Precious, the moments
endure, powerful
contentment, love
forever divine
blissful, savoured
our candle burns...
long into the nights
upon days
our neverending
story
