New romance poetry...
The time and occasion
seeming so right
no false pretense
prim, polite
we both closed our eyes
breathless intentions
happiness overcame
reservation
~
Joy took our breath
away, so divine
we pledged our love
eternally...
hers and mine
her skin so soft
our fingertips touched
lips, tender and fine
~
Her smile, breathtaking
her eyes were on fire
our tears streaming
as liquified pearl
should I ask her
to stay, then no
not just yet
first kiss to be
savoured, not rushed
let us wait
~
Sunset cloaked our
arousal, so warm
we nestled, in the
moments of darkness
held so close, a feeling of
utter content, emotions
simmering, hers and mine
so good, so right
~
The night was a dream
holding each other
so close, so divine
sweet dreams my love
this night was so fine
our hearts came together
as one, yours and mine
