Exploring Gentle Love Poetry

Best kind of gentle love poetry...

Eyes closed, compassion

moved, enchanted

adoring, I squirm

awed by your

beauty, magical

restfulness

what tales your

dreams would

reveal,

whisper to me

~

Gentle, I hold

your open hand

awaiting my own

a kiss from

my lips, a nudging

temptation, coyly

you simper, a

salacious grin

I flutter internal

~

I hold my breath

as though my last

arresting moments as

none before

drawing nearer

I inhale your

fragrance, arresting

as softly I sing

a sweet love

song’s forever

melody

I find your pulse

elevating

through my fingertips

yet still you breathe

a gentle, tender love

song, of you, of me…
